Professional Travel Planning & Service Fees

Planning a trip takes more than searching online and making a booking. It requires research, supplier comparison, itinerary design, logistics, documentation review, payment tracking, and ongoing support before and during travel.

My professional service fees allow me to dedicate the time and attention needed to properly plan, organize, and support your trip. These fees reflect the value of personalized advice, professional travel planning, and having a real person managing the details on your behalf.

When you book your travel through me, you receive more than a reservation. You receive a managed travel experience.

Travefy Itinerary Access

As part of my travel planning service, I provide access to Travefy, a professional itinerary platform that allows your trip details to be organized in one easy-to-use place.

Your Travefy itinerary may include flights, accommodations, transfers, tours, excursions, destination notes, confirmation details, and other important travel information.

Travefy itineraries are managed tools and require manual setup, updates, and ongoing maintenance. For that reason, Travefy access and itinerary management are provided only when:

  • Your travel components are booked through me; or

  • An active Trip Planning & Research Fee has been paid.

Travefy is not a hand-off document. It is part of a professionally managed planning service.

Complimentary Consultation

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to discuss your travel plans, destination ideas, timing, budget, and the level of support you are looking for.

After the consultation, I will confirm the appropriate planning or service fee before any research, quoting, itinerary creation, or booking work begins.

All fees are in Canadian dollars and are subject to HST where applicable.

What the Fee Covers

Depending on the service selected, your fee may include:

  • Personalized research and recommendations

  • Destination and supplier comparisons

  • Itinerary design and trip flow planning

  • Quote preparation

  • Booking management

  • Supplier coordination

  • Payment schedule tracking

  • Travefy itinerary creation

  • Ongoing Travefy updates for eligible bookings

  • Pre-departure support

  • Travel document organization

  • Assistance with changes or issues when applicable

Planning Only vs. Full Booking Support

If you choose to book your travel through me, I manage the booking process and provide support connected to the services booked.

If you choose to use my research or itinerary guidance but book some or all components on your own, a Trip Planning & Research Fee is required for planning work and Travefy itinerary access to continue.

The Trip Planning & Research Fee covers professional research, recommendations, and itinerary creation. It does not include supplier booking management, payment tracking, repricing, changes, cancellations, or post-booking support for travel components not booked through me.

Payment Terms

All professional service fees must be paid in full before any planning, research, quoting, itinerary creation, booking, or Travefy setup begins.

Nothing moves forward until the applicable fee has been paid.

This allows expectations to be clear from the beginning and ensures every client receives dedicated professional attention.

Non-Refundable Fees

All planning and service fees are 100% non-refundable.

Fees compensate for professional time, research, expertise, itinerary work, booking support, and administrative service already provided or reserved.

Planning and service fees are separate from, and in addition to, any fees charged by tour operators, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, car rental companies, insurance providers, or any other travel supplier included in your booking.

Planning fees apply regardless of whether travel is ultimately booked.

Changes & Cancellations

Change and cancellation fees remain in effect once travel planning or booking support has begun.

A $50 change or cancellation service fee applies per request, in addition to any supplier-imposed penalties, fare differences, cancellation charges, or administrative fees.

If you cancel your trip, supplier penalties may apply, and any professional planning or service fees already paid remain non-refundable.

Important Note

My role is either to fully manage and support your trip when booked through me, or to provide professional trip planning as a paid service. This fee structure ensures your travel plans receive the time, care, organization, and support they deserve.
